It’s official…I’m in

This afternoon, I did my volunteering for the New York Road Runners, part of their qualification program for the New York City Marathon. You have to volunteer and run at least 9 NYRR races the year before the marathon to automatically qualify. If you don’t qualify this way, you have to enter a highly competitive lottery which is very difficult to get through, something I’ve tried for the past 2 years. I’ve done my 9 races, and as of today, I did my +1. I’m in. And can’t wait.

2010 NYC Marathon…here I come. (eeek!!!!!!!!! I’m very excited!!!!)
